Me, Carin' Mom, and my husband, Nepenthe, have always wanted to be parents and after a rough go with infertility, we decided to stop treatments and pursue our dreams through the foster care system and adoption. We have 2 boys currently. Our adopted 3 year old Scott and our 1 month old foster baby Robert. We learned through training that the kids in care need a life book to help them move forward but still remember where they've been and that's exactly what we are trying to do too. It's been a bumpy road with many emotional turns but together we are finding our way.
